IDG is looking for an editor to join our award-winning portfolio of business and technology websites.

Experience writing about business and technology is preferred, but we are primarily looking for writing and editing talent, inquisitiveness, enthusiasm to engage with industry, and a willingness to learn and share ideas.

We're looking for an experienced journalist to work as part of the award-winning and expanding business-to-business editorial team in our central London offices.

A journalism qualification and at least two years in the industry is desirable, but all applications will be considered. Convince us!

We want someone who is brimming with fresh ideas using real world contacts, analytics and social media trends to write unique and engaging stories and produce, edit and refresh written, video and visual content across our portfolio of sites.

We are also looking for a team player that is willing to help write and edit compelling commercial copy to tight deadlines for external clients from time to time.

Ideally you will have some experience of technology or business journalism, and an interest in covering the UK's vibrant and ever-changing tech scene, from the latest advances in artificial intelligence to the ins and outs of the technology scene around Whitehall. But primarily we want talent, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn and share ideas.

We need someone who is a voracious reader, with excellent writing and editing skills, and a passion for digital media.

An enthusiastic communicator and team player who has experience managing writers and freelancers, as well as engaging with various business stakeholders, is preferred.

In return we offer the opportunity to make a difference as part of a successful, vibrant and social team – the biggest global team of technology journalists on the planet with excellent career growth opportunities.

We'll send you to cover events in far-flung places, and never say no to a good idea. And you will see your byline on award-winning, market-leading sites such as Techworld.com, CIO.co.uk, CSOonline.com and Computerworld.com.

IDG is the world's leading technology media, data and marketing services company.

We influence the most powerful tech buyers in the world — from business technologists to enthusiasts and everyone in between. To find out more, visit idg.com.

To find out more about this role, or to express interest in joining our team, click 'APPLY NOW' and complete the application form in confidence, with a covering letter and CV, before 20 February 2020.
