Yahoo UK is looking for an outstanding candidate to join its Diversity in Journalism scheme starting in September 2020.

We are committed to creating a newsroom that champions diversity and inclusion.

We have established a unique partnership with a premier journalism course to give aspiring journalists the opportunity to follow their dreams regardless of their background.

We will fully fund the NCTJ course at News Associates as well as offer food and travel expenses.

Upon successfully passing the scheme, you may be offered a paid, six-month, fixed term contract with us.

The ideal candidate will be preferably degree educated and have shown a commitment to journalism. You will be ambitious, curious, open-minded and have a strong work ethic.

The course will start in September and run till February 2021. All candidates must be able to commit to that full time frame. We will be holding a virtual assessment day on 15 July for all successful candidates.

You must be a citizen of the UK or have the right to work in the UK.
