About you:

The ideal candidate for will have editing experience, which should include working with clinical/scientific material as well editing material provided by non-professional writers.

You will have a Knowledge of nursing and/or healthcare and experience of using a content management system.

With a strong attention to detail you will have the ability to turn often complex and dense specialist or academic material into accessible and engaging content, presented in clear, plain English.

About the role:

You will be part of a small team who are responsible for the clinical content of the magazine/website, a suite of online learning and a growing portfolio of commercial clinical projects including supplements, webinars, and roundtables.

You will be involved in editing, proofreading, and updating as well as taking a role in commercial projects. You will also work with the team on strategies to increase subscriber engagement with Nursing Times, by enhancing the learning value of our clinical archive.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensuring articles for the clinical section are reader-friendly and accurate, and conform to Nursing Times house style
  • Updating Nursing Times online learning units
  • Networking at nursing events to engage with the Nursing Times audience and generate ideas for content
  • Project managing digital/print projects for commercial team
