To be successful in this role you will have the ability to interpret, analyse and disseminate complex information. You will have the confidence to interview and build contacts among senior figures in the property industry. As a dynamic team player, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be self-motivated and have a professional demeanor.
About the Role:
As a section editor, you will oversee the legal & professional section and turn it into a more multi-media proposition. You will be confident using your own initiative and comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
This role is actively involved in Property Week’s new investigations unit and you will work closely with the contributing editor (features) and data journalist to deliver ground-breaking reports and investigations.
- Commissioning, writing, and editing news and features
- Transforming the section into a more multi-media proposition
- Spotting key legal & professional trends and spelling out the significance to readers
- Conducting investigations as part of our newly formed investigations unit
- Overseeing the PW Diversity & Inclusion Editorial Code of Conduct
- Representing the magazine at industry events with some national and international travel
