ABOUT THE ROLE

The Commissioning Editor is an integral, cross-platform role within the Men’s Health team, bearing responsibility for and influence over all areas of Men’s Health.

Managing a band of writers and contributors, editing two print sections and three e-newsletters, and looking after much of the brand’s licensing and events activity, it is a job that demands a good contacts book.

You will have daily contact with the Editor in Chief and Deputy Editor. Regular liaison with the Digital Editor and Social Media Editor.

The Commissioning Editor will also be expected to attend weekly team meetings as well as maintain relationships with PTs, fitness influencers, PRs, fitness industry insider and a good mix of science and nutrition experts. This will be for 3-months in the first instance.

ABOUT YOU

This role requires a driven and hard-working self-starter with a can-do attitude and wily initiative.

The successful candidate will be as passionate about good words and pictures as health and fitness, plus have a proven track record in magazine journalism. Experience in digital publishing as well as print is desirable.
