FinTech Global, a leading provider of news, research and events in the FinTech sector, is looking to hire ambitious journalists to join its team of news reporters and researchers.
The opportunity would suit a reporter with at least one year’s experience in journalism, ideally within tech or finance, who is keen to immerse themselves in a specialist reporting area and work to become a leading authority within the FinTech sector.
We’re currently looking for a full-time editor for our RegTech Analyst website and for a reporter to support our FinTech, RegTech and InsurTech websites.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Sourcing and writing extensive daily news stories
- Creating daily and weekly newsletters
- Conducting interviews with senior industry leaders
- Assisting clients to create thought-leadership articles and whitepapers
- Promoting their work via social media to build their professional reputation as well as that of the company.
- Developing relationships with the most senior decision-makers and thought-leaders in the FinTech industry
- Chairing panel discussions at industry conferences (optional)
- Hosting events to promote the brand (post Covid)
Candidates should come in brimming with ideas about how to build and guide the website’s future – specific expertise in the FinTech space is welcomed, though not essential, with successful applicants displaying an eagerness to get to grips with the sector and build a network with top industry players.
The work will be primarily based from home until Covid restrictions are lifted, at which point a combination of home and office-based time will be the norm according to business requirements and personal preferences. We are open to being very flexible.
