DFNI is a leading international trade publication for the fast-paced and competitive travel-retail industry. We have a strong reputation for breaking news, and insightful analysis across our print and digital publications and website.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Digital Editor to manage the day-to-day running of DFNI online and all our digital channels. This includes breaking and updating news online, managing multiple social media channels, newsletters, video content and podcasts. You will also be contributing features and analysis to the digital and print publications, and proofing and editing when required.
DFNI also offers a growing portfolio of virtual and face-to-face awards, webinars and conferences and the Digital Editor will be required to help develop these and, at times, to chair them.
You will have experience of writing accurate and engaging copy for a business audience in a timely manner, across print, digital, newsletters and social media. You will be personable and able to establish and nurture contacts with key people in the industry, as well as work closely with other members of the team. You will need to have a demonstrated level of digital experience, including content management systems – particularly WordPress.
- Daily writing and uploading news content for the website.
- Managing social media, newsletters and mailouts
- Developing and managing video and audio content
- Contributing features and analysis to print and digital editions
- Developing strong senior contacts in the industry
- Supporting with new content ideas, digital initiatives, and development of events
