The highly commended Home Hub design team is looking for a junior designer who can quickly adapt to the fast-paced creative unit that oversees the design of two market-leading brands, House Beautiful and Country Living.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Junior Designer role is responsible for supporting the Creative Directors and Art Editors to ensure the perfect execution of our titles, House Beautiful and Country Living. You will work alongside other designers, liaising on house style to ensure brand identity. You will design regular pages and features across both titles taking pages from initial concept through to final production.

Other key responsibilities include:

Attend art meetings and generate exciting ideas for layout of features and regular pages.
Finalising pages the highest standards to be sent to press and pre-media.
Assist the advertising and promotions team with requests for their clients e.g dummy layouts. 
Design for digital, events and brand marketing as necessary.
 

ABOUT YOU

As the Junior Designer you will be a passionate about design, homes and interiors and have experience within a similar role, however we can provide some training to upskill you. You will ideally have a solid understanding of Adobe Creative suite, in particular InDesign and Photoshop. We are firstly looking for someone that can be adaptable across both titles and multiple platforms, understand the vision of each brand, work to tight deadlines and has an endless supply of new ideas.
