Are you interested in using your writing, editing and content production skills to support our work improving lives?

As our editorial production executive, you’ll help produce the content for Sightsavers’ global websites, as well as supporting our web team with user experience testing and ensuring our website provide a best-in-class experience for our supporters.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for writing and editing, and who can demonstrate an understanding of the benefits digital communications can bring to a global charity.

If you’re interested in working as part of a multidisciplined, inclusive and friendly team that’s passionate about the work it delivers, and are dedicated to building on your existing editorial and web skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Experience working in digital media or marketing communications, or in the not-for-profit, design or publishing sectors is preferred but not essential. We’re especially interested in hearing from applicants with lived experience of our programme countries in Africa and Asia. Fluency in French, Norwegian or Italian would also be very welcome. A commitment to disability rights is essential for anyone working for Sightsavers.

Although acting globally, supporting colleagues around the world, Sightsavers is headquartered in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. We are supportive of remote working, but post-pandemic, for this role would like candidates to be able to attend team meetings in person at least once a month. The offices are close to mainline transport and Sightsavers offer a family friendly and inclusive working environment. This position is full time, but we will also consider flexible working equating to at least four days per week pro rata.
