Job Details
Political Editor
The Jewish Chronicle is seeking a political editor to lead its coverage of issues of concern to the Jewish community.
The political editor of Europe’s most influential Jewish newspaper plays a key role in driving editorial coverage. In recent years the JC has led Fleet Street in its exposes of Islamists and Labour under Corbyn. We define ‘issues of concern to the Jewish community’ broadly so there is scope for a wide variety of topics and issues to be covered.
The successful candidate will be familiar with the JC, its output and the issues. The political editor will be a story getter who can deliver a succession of scoops, and also able to analyse and explain politics both to JC readers and the wider public, as the role is high profile and attracts frequent broadcasting and other writing opportunities.
We are keen to consider applications from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Closing date 21 June.
