RESEARCH EDITOR, COMPANIES & EXECUTIVES DATA
We are looking for a Research Editor to join the Companies & Executives Data team.
The team is responsible for powering company data across Factiva, WSJ and our B2B business.
As a Research Editor, you will ensure the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of company data in business profiles published on the Factiva website as well as its coding in Factiva articles.
You will work with your peers on research related to companies and executives data in addition to supporting product projects, testing and roll-outs.
You will report to the Companies & Executives Data Manager.

You Will
- Research and monitor corporate events and management changes
- Compile data from multiple sources (both internal and external) and ensure it is fit for publication
- Ensure data from third-party feeds is deduplicated in a timely manner, complete and accurate
- Ensure continuity of Factiva coding by conducting reviews of newsworthy companies and people data
- Contribute to team-, department- and product-initiated projects
- Perform testing of new or enhanced system and product functionality
- Support training of future members of staff
You Have
- Research and editorial skills
- Proficiency in data gathering, analysis and problem-solving
- Fluency in English
- General interest about economics, financial markets, corporate events and management changes
- An openness to different views and opinions and an appreciation for team diversity
Preferred
- Education to a degree level
- Automation skills utilizing SQL or similar
