Job Details
We have a great Kickstart opportunity with Portobello Legal Media, a growing publishing house specialising in the provision of news, information and analysis for the international legal market. They are looking for a Trainee Research Journalist to join their team and gain experience in a journalism and publishing environment. If you’re passionate about writing, with strong communication and can work under deadlines, this might be the role for you! Please note that this is for a Kickstart 6-month contract on a part-time basis (25 hours a week) based in London with some remote working.
What you’ll be doing:
- Help with preparing copy for online news and features
- Prepare and undertake surveys and interviews of lawyers and legal professionals
- Co-ordinate submission of external content for the site, ensuring timely publication
- Upload content and manage stories and features on weekly news briefing meetings
