Lancashire, Yorkshire & Cheshire Life, Editorial Assistant

We have an amazing opportunity to work across four of our most successful magazines Lancashire, Yorkshire & Cheshire Life, and Living Edge.  

As Editorial Assistant you will be researching, interviewing and writing large, small and regular feature articles for these magazines and their associated websites.

You will also be a contributor to the central Shared Content team, which produces timely, seasonal content for use across the whole Archant portfolio.

You will need to have superb organisation skills and diary management as there are deadlines to meet, events to attend, photographers to organise, pictures to research, contributors to liaise with, payments to process, uploading of on-line content, and attending events on behalf of the brand.  

You will be adept at using social media to increase the brands’ following and popularity and will have ideas for features that develop the brand and magazines further.

This is a full-time, permanent role.  You will be working from home but must live in either Cheshire or Lancashire to be able to drive to complete interviews and research stories.  

The successful candidate will have a strong background in creating features and content for magazines ideally within the lifestyle sector.
