City A.M. is looking for ambitious designers to ensure City A.M. remains a visually appealing, eye-catching newspaper. 

The right candidates will work with the Head of Design and the Editor to ensure coherent, high-quality design throughout the newspaper. 

The right candidates will:

  • Have an in-depth knowledge of newspaper design    
  • Have an understanding of design software, specifically Quark   
  • Be able to operate at speed


The candidates will also work on the design of City A.M.’s magazine. 

The right candidates will also offer support to the digital team, ensuring that CityAM.com continues to offer a visually appealing digital product. 

The candidates will operate on a rota system and the role will require two to three evening shifts a week. 

Two roles are available.

Hours: 40 hours a week, shift system with some late nights
Salary: c £25-30,000
