Job Description:
The Wall Street Journal is looking for a top-notch editor to wrangle stories from start to finish across our Asia file. You will work with our bureaus and coverage chiefs to shape stories in their early stages -- testing hypotheses, adding proper context, demanding proof and more reporting if necessary. You will be a core member of our Hong Kong hub, helping move stories more quickly to conclusion and improving our digital presence.
You should have significant experience working with reporters and the confidence to see stories through to their fullest potential. A deep respect for the facts, comfort with business and financial topics, and an even temperament that facilitates collaborative work are essential, as is prior experience in a similar role.
Please submit a cover letter describing your experience and interest in this job, a detailed resume, and a half-dozen clips with explanations about what the stories show about your capabilities.
