Could you be the next editor of Nursing in Practice?

With active news, print issues and CPD digital sites, the new Editor of Nursing in Practice will have a lively role working with a range of authors and contacts across nursing and healthcare. Our readers within the sectors of nursing in primary care – such as general practice nursing, community nursing and midwifery – look to us for daily updates, analysis and vital discussion on key topics that affect them in delivering vital care to patients.

The right candidate will be experienced in setting a news agenda, be confident in delivering exclusive investigations and have top-quality writing and editing skills. There will be plenty of scope to work on new projects for the brand, such as roundtables, podcasts and social media campaigns, as well as coming up with plenty of ideas to keep improving the content and widen their reach.

The Editor will work with the Group Editor to set the editorial direction for the publication, as well as working within a wider editorial team which includes the company’s other healthcare brands, such as Pulse.

To be considered for the role you will have at least five years’ experience in journalism, at least one years’ experience in an Editor role, a track record in breaking exclusives and commissioning articles, and line management experience. You will ideally also have experience in healthcare journalism.
