Junior sub-editors
Salary : from £26k

We are looking for subs with some experience, preferably with one or two jobs already on their CV, to work with us as we build an online editorial operation for finance and business websites capital.com, and currency.com.

You will be subbing everything from spot news to longer-form content, and working as part of a global team of writers and subs.

You will know the basics of what makes a good story, how to write a catchy intro and good headlines, and what to look out for to ensure everything we publish is accurate and legal.

You will have the confidence and knowledge to check facts and challenge assertions where necessary.

An interest in and understanding of business and finance will be an advantage, but most of all we are looking for people who understand what good copy is.

We are building a 24-hour editorial operation, so there are positions available in a number of time zones.

Our UK operation is based in London, and we are open to a combination of home and office-based working.

We offer an attractive package and a stimulating and supportive working environment

Click APPLY NOW and send us your CV and covering letter.
