Requirements:

Formal journalism education or training is a must.

The successful candidate should already have built up a book of impactful stories, preferably over two or more years of working experience in business journalism.

Covering real estate would be an advantage but is not essential.

A background in financial journalism would also be an advantage.

They should be able to demonstrate an aptitude for proprietary analysis writing and exclusive news reporting in digital and print.

Experience in social media and multimedia journalism including video, podcast and other online formats is also welcome.

They should be a keen networker and to attend sector events as well as, on occasion, travel for assignments.

Written and spoken fluency in English is essential.
