Condé Nast Traveller: Features Editor

Description

The Features Editor will work closely with the Features Director to plan, commission and edit features as well as packages and front-of-book, service-driven pieces. He/she/they is equally comfortable on print and digital platforms. Strong editing and writing skills, and a good knowledge of the travel industry are essential, as is the ability to generate ideas and work with a network of writers and correspondents across the world. This role reports into the Features Director.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, commission and edit well features, front of book pieces and digital content
  • Build digital content
  • Write quality, on-brand content
  • Work on sponsored editorial content as required
  • Represent the brand as required

 

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • A proven Editor, you will have at least 5 years experience in commissioning and editing well/long-form features
  • You will have a global address book of on-brand writers and stringers
  • An extensive knowledge of the travel industry and the PR teams who work within it are a must
