This is an opportunity to lead a title that has seen consistent double-digit growth in recent years, with the scope to double in size over the next two years.

We’re looking for an experienced editorial leader with a good knowledge of advancements within B2B journalism who can bring together and grow a team of exceptional journalists. Covering the insurance market, you will create forward thinking editorial strategy, encourage and develop original ideas, and create a working culture where market moving stories are the norm.

You will have the backing and support from one of the major names in international financial news, currently transforming their news services to lead the sectors they cover. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee content strategy and delivery and manage a team of reporters and market analysts
  • On occasion, uncover market moving scoops, and write news and analysis for the title
  • Manage the publishing process ensuring that all stories are accurate and timely

Key requirements include:

  • Experience in managing a first-class financial newsroom is essential
  • A strong knowledge of financial markets (knowledge of the insurance sector would be a bonus)
  • Experience in managing analysts would also be an advantage
