Job Description:

Mansion Global, the premier destination for news, analysis and trend stories on the luxury residential market worldwide, is seeking an editor with graphic, writing and editing skills to join our team as we expand and innovate how we tell stories online.

The ideal candidate understands the latest ways readers are consuming news, as well as the journalistic and technological reasons stories thrive on various platforms.

In this role, you'll work closely with our digital editors to optimize images and videos for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and create Google Web Stories.

Additionally, you'll drive and manage an SEO driven platform initiative that promotes content and expands our audience. As part of the team, you'll also assist in newsletter production and will be called on to write a spot story and edit copy.

We're looking for a self-starter who will pitch ideas, and who is a good communicator, as you'll collaborate with our editorial, design, video, product and audience teams. This is a great opportunity to produce content on new platforms for visual storytelling, and learn and grow in one of the top newsrooms in the world.

This ideal candidate has interest and some experience in business/real estate journalism.

You have:

• At least five years of experience as a digital editor, with a combination of graphics and photo/video editing skills.
• Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively across many teams and disciplines
• Headline writing skills
• Experience with visual editing software including: Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, as well as other non-linear editing software. 2-D and 3-D animation is a plus.
• Candidates must share a body of work and/or reel.
