JOB DESCRIPTION
At Hearst UK, there’s always more to the story. Join us as our Branded Content Editor to start the next chapter in your career.
We’re the UK’s leading premium publisher, and the people behind iconic media brands such as Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Elle, Good Housekeeping, Delish UK, Harper’s Bazaar and Country Living. We’ve created a working environment that encourages everyone to pull together. We never stop looking for brave new ideas. We’ll always try to develop and improve, we trust each other to do our best, and we have fun as we build on our heritage to make history.
Alongside a team of content leads, editors, art directors, designers, and video creatives, we are responsible for the creation of all branded content across Hearst UK’s digital and print portfolio. We also create global content for Hearst’s websites worldwide. Our mission is to be known for industry-leading branded content that works for our clients, for our Hearst brands and most importantly, for our audiences. We pride ourselves on our ability to think creatively, work collaboratively and spark conversation through our award-winning content.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of Branded Content Editor involves creating quality branded content across both print and digital, covering the areas of wellness, entertainment, fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. You will be responsible for editing, writing and commissioning sparkling copy across all Hearst UK titles (both print and digital). This role requires someone who is highly creative and social-media savvy, has strong attention to detail, and is used to dealing with multiple stakeholders.
ABOUT YOU
You must have strong communication skills; previous editing and writing experience across print and/or digital, the ability to juggle numerous tasks, handle client feedback with a positive attitude and stay organised and in control, is beneficial. You need to be a fast and highly skilled editor with a keen eye for detail, as well as an enthusiastic team-player.
WHAT WE OFFER
At Hearst UK, you can choose from a huge range of perks and benefits that can help you learn well, work well and live well including:
- 25 days’ holiday (with the option to buy up to 5 additional holiday days)
- Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the office!
- Discounted gym membership
- Healthcare cash plan
- Spend a charity day with your favourite good cause
- Life assurance and pension scheme
- Regular socials and more!
There’s more to your story than you imagine. And the next chapter begins right here.
