upday started in 2015 as a joint project between Axel Springer and Samsung Electronics to redefine mobile news. And a lot has happened since then!

Today, over 200 media and tech professionals with 30 different nationalities contribute to upday's vision and shape how 25 million users consume news. Your Challenges

• Managing an editorial team of journalists and coordinating their work
• Cooperating with other departments of the company
• Making content fly on the web and social media channels
• Dealing with publisher relations and global partnerships
• Recruiting and developing talents
• Drafting freelance contracts and payment procedures
• Streamlining the workflow and maintaining a problem-solving attitude

Your profile

• You have 4+ years of experience in working in a global newsroom
• You are familiar with the British and international media landscape
• You have 2+ years of experience managing editorial teams and are looking for a new place to develop your career
• You are a natural leader, great communicator and quick learner
• You have in-depth knowledge of the news consumption on mobile and social media channels
• You are open to working with talented and diverse colleagues from different departments of upday (tech, product, marketing, journalism)
