PEI Media is seeking a magazine Production Editor for its print and digital titles focusing on alternative asset finance.

Based in London, the journalist will work across B2B brands aimed at senior financial professionals. They will take a lead role in producing magazines, ensuring deadlines are hit and house style is followed.

Experience of print journalism is essential, as is the ability to handle competing priorities – the candidate should be as comfortable editing a web story or email newsletter as working with a designer and senior editor on a magazine spread.

Knowledge of financial markets and terminology is an advantage, along with an understanding of charts and data.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least two years’ journalism experience.
  • Strong organisational skills and working knowledge of standard journalism practices and techniques, including copyright and libel law.
  • Experience of editing financial news
  • Working knowledge of both US and UK English grammar and spelling.
  • Knowledge of WordPress and data visualization packages, such as Infogram.
  • Experience of working with charts and data
  • Familiarity with Adobe InDesign.
  • Experience of working on a print title.
