What we're asking of you

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related technical field
• Minimum of 1 year hands-on level database design development experience including web and mobile applications, APIs, data warehousing, data marts and data lakes
• Deliver stable architectures while meeting design specifications, sprint goals and timelines
• Design and develop modern, scalable, maintainable, high-quality databases & data services
• Design and develop data solutions that utilize cloud-based technologies and platforms (PaaS, DBaaS)
• Capture and share best practice knowledge with the internal technical teams
• Lead Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) best practices for code build and deployments
• Have experience with any of the following:
• Cloud development experience (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Multi regions, cloud database backup and transaction recovery techniques, containerized databases
• Big data and noSQL databases with strong knowledge of ETL & Data Management Tools
• Strong knowledge of TSQL and PgSQL coding, stored procedures, views, troubleshooting & debugging
• Developing environment specifications, benchmarking performance scenarios, and monitoring environments
• Experience with monitoring database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
• Recognize opportunities for and lead support, optimization and upgrade of existing data platform services
• Data Modeling
• Creation of technical documentation and training material.
