The website, which is part of The Times and The Sunday Times, is looking for a money writer/broadcast journalist to help bring our stories to life by combining excellent communication skills with a passion for helping readers understand money matters.
You will have a great ability to break down complex matters into simple, easily digestible formats whether that is for radio, TV or the written content on our site.
Your role: As part of the role you will be writing and updating new and existing content as well as play a key part in our broadcast strategy including presenting videos and doing regular radio slots. You will also work towards becoming an expert on various personal finance topics and be able to pitch stories on those matters.
You’re a team player but also someone who’s just happy to get on with things. You’ll be working closely with the rest of the team to present a variety of money-focused content types in the best possible way.
Times Money Mentor is on a mission to demystify money, so a passion for telling stories that make it interesting and relevant to different audiences is a must. Experience in personal finance is desirable but not required. Please indicate on your application any relevant experience you have.

Day to day you will:
Keep our existing content up to date and accurate
Play a key part in creating new content - whether that is writing an article or filming a video
Become an expert on various personal finance topics including pension, investments and credit cards
Get editorial insights from data and SEO
Ensure TMM’s tone of voice is consistent across the site
Be part of TMM’s wider strategy

The Times and The Sunday Times represent a combined 400 years of covering news and providing comment and analysis in the UK and the world.

This role will join our team at Times Money Mentor. The team is charged with finding and telling stories on our digital platforms in the most appropriate formats and empowering the newsroom to present stories in new and innovative ways.
