Content Dev is a team of highly skilled journalists that operates outside of the regular editorial division at Future and at the forefront of content, technology and user experience. With a brand-agnostic outlook, it’s tasked with managing and developing Future’s most exciting and high value content areas.

With the purpose of ensuring that Future’s sites (e.g. TechRadar, Tom’s Guide, T3, What Hi-Fi? and many more) have class-leading, high ranking content across highly competitive verticals like software and services, the Content Dev team is expected to demonstrate today’s world class SEO and to develop tomorrow’s killer new content strategies.

TechRadar is one of the biggest and most trusted names in tech journalism, and we’re looking for an experienced tech journalist or commissioning editor to join the team and supercharge our software and services category. With an emphasis on VPN, antivirus and other software, the successful candidate will be in charge of overseeing some of the most important content we have across our sites.

You’ll work alongside a talented team to deliver the best in class of features and news content, while also initiating, commissioning and working with freelance contributors. So if you’re well connected in the industry, that would be a massive benefit too.

You will have a critical mind and play a leading role in setting the global news agenda on the topic of cyber security and privacy. You should be comfortable sifting through data sets, capturing trends, and should thrive on the responsibility of surfacing interesting stories for TechRadar’s global audience.

Requirements

• Experience and proven track record of working for a busy, ambitious publishing company or similar
• A genuine interest in the cybersecurity sector, including VPNs and antivirus
• Working understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to quickly develop these skills
• Ability to use audience behavioural data to inform content strategy and analyse gaps in existing content
