POLITICO is looking for an editor to drive our daily news agenda.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced editor with international newspaper or newswire experience, a track record of sharp hands-on editing and exclusives and experience of coordinating reporting teams to drive high-impact news coverage.

This is a senior editing role working closely with our Chief News Editor on the story of the day, and coordinating with editors and reporters in Brussels, London, Paris and across the Continent with the clear objective of driving digital readership.

Qualifications

• Experienced newsroom editor
• Strong English-language writing and editing skills
• Impeccable news judgment
• Ability to work under pressure and on deadline
