Who we’re looking for
A senior reporter experienced in covering big breaking news, working up stories and undertaking commission work for national titles. 

They would have an instinct to know a national story – how and where to find them and react when they break.  

The candidate would WFH based in Cambridge / east of England area and work alongside our news editors in our Bristol HQ and journalists on national titles. 

The role
The successful candidate will have the flexibility of working from home. 

An NCTJ qualification or similar is preferable, along with shorthand and a valid driving licence. 

Social media skills are a must. You should know your way around all the platforms – and how to use them to source stories.
