You will have incredible time management skills, and be able to write engaging copy around quickly and accurately to very tight daily deadlines.
Topics that you will have experience spotting and writing about include (but are not limited to) viral or trending stories (including image and video-led pieces), Femail relevant celebrities, society stories, royal families from around the world, real life, lifestyle fashion, beauty, TV, food and news features.
You will be flexible in terms of working shift patterns and weekends.
Requirements:
- Previous national newspaper website (or similar) experience
- Flexibility regarding shift patterns
- NCTJ qualification
- Enviable contacts book
- Previous experience as a news journalist would be a bonus
- Be able to bring in exclusive stories
The above list is not exhaustive and constantly evolving, based on the needs of the business. Out of hours availability and a high level of adaptability are essential.
Please apply by sending an up-to-date CV, a note about yourself and why you’d be perfect for the team to Vacancies.UK@assocnews.co.uk
