ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Fashion Director, you will support the Bookings Director in the production and casting processes of all editorial main fashion, front of book, jewellery and beauty shoots across Esquire as well as ELLE and Harper’s Bazaar, ensuring the smooth running of the bookings process. You will also help manage the Bookings Assistant with day to day workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for casting and booking all talent and contributors for Esquire main fashion.  This will include sourcing the highest level of models, hair /make up, stylists etc for a luxury brand.
  • Own all elements of shoot production for Esquire main fashion, including location searches, sourcing caterers and props for shoots, booking travel etc.
  • To work together with the Bookings Director on the casting and production of Bazaar and Elle main fashion shoots.
  • Produce beauty, jewellery and any other front of book fashion shoots as requested, including sourcing models, crew and location.
  • Ability to support on occasional cover shoots where casting is involved, as well as associated digital content.
  • Ability to book travel, accommodation, and locations in the most efficient and economical manner, and in accordance with Hearst procedures.
  • Ability to handle all paperwork and admin for shoots, including any necessary permits, insurance, and ensure all shoots meet any health and safety compliances as required.
  • Ability to send out call-sheets as required, and where required, be the liaison between all parties involved in every shoot to ensure clear communication on timings and logistics.
  • Ability to commission talent according to the Hearst commissioning process by ensuring the correct commission forms or contracts are sent out to photographers / videographers and agents as required. 
  • Prepared to go on set and assist with production where required.
  • Prepared to conduct go-sees plus castings for shoots as required
  • Ability to oversee the bookings assistant in ensuring budgets are up to date with accurate forecasts and actual spends, and invoices are processed and logged in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work closely with the Editorial Business team to ensure accurate budget tracking, budget management and to ensure maximum cost efficiency at all times.
  • Prepared to work on digital editorial content when needed, researching suitable models and new photographers to shoot online content, as well as working on production of these shoots. 
  • Ability to upload final images to the internal server and Censhare system, and ensure images are tagged with the correct rights and meta data on Censhare. 
  • To be an ambassador of Hearst UK and its values.
  • You may be required to undertake such further duties as your skills, qualifications and experience allow and/or as may be assigned to you from time to time.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Relevant experience in editorial bookings and contacts with model agencies and creative talent agencies.
  • Excellent knowledge and a keen interest in the photography and model industry.
  • Proven experience in casting and production on a luxury brand across both print and digital
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail often with conflicting deadlines.
  • Motivated and reliable with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
  • Able to work well under pressure and comfortable with working to deadlines.
  • Good budget management skills
  • Experience of Photoshop and InDesign preferable.
