Head of Audience Development
The London Review of Books is looking for a head of audience development. The job includes (but isn’t limited to) oversight and development of the LRB’s website, newsletters and social media. An ability to interpret data and great enthusiasm for the paper are extremely important.
The role is within editorial but will further the LRB’s overall business objectives.
We are looking for someone who will:
- Devise, evaluate and execute strategies to build audiences across our online platforms, with a focus on development and conversion
- Use and assess existing data analytics tools and interpret the results
- Conduct industry benchmarking and analysis
- Work between departments to create new online initiatives
- Optimise newsletter performance to grow our subscription base
Applicants should possess:
- An interest in and knowledge of the LRB
- Demonstrable audience and analytics experience (including Google Analytics and SEO)
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Project/team leadership experience
Salary: £60,000-£70,000 p.a. according to experience.
