News Reporter

Location: MailOnline Headquarters – London
Position: 1 year FTC

MailOnline the world's largest English-language newspaper website with over 200 million monthly unique visitors globally, is looking for experienced and talented news reporters to join the London team. Suitable candidates will be experienced reporters with an impressive track record of finding and breaking exclusive stories of national and global interest.

We are looking for someone with at least 2-3 years' reporting experience at a local or regional newspaper who is ready to break into national news reporting working on the biggest and best stories of the day.

Applicants must be able to deliver vibrant, clean copy to very tight deadlines. They will also be able to work self-sufficiently and generate fresh, original content for our ever-growing readership.

Requirements include: 

  • NCTJ or equivalent qualification
  • Significant newsroom experience
  • Ability to generate own news stories
  • Keen eye for photographs
  • Strong understanding of UK media law
  • Flexibility regarding shift patterns
