TV Reporter
Location: MailOnline Headquarters – London
Position: Permanent
MailOnline is looking for an experienced and talented reporter to join the London TV desk.
Suitable candidates will have experience of television writing gained on national or well-established local newspapers or websites, and an impressive track record of finding and breaking exclusive stories of national and global interest.
Applicants must be able to deliver vibrant, clean copy to very tight deadlines, report on live TV and attend industry events on behalf of MailOnline.
An enthusiasm for TV is essential, as is editorial range – we cover content ranging from daytime TV to streaming, primetime entertainment and global blockbusters.
Requirements include:
- NCTJ-qualified
- Solid newspaper, magazine or news website experience
- Flexibility regarding shift patterns
- Ability to generate their own TV stories
- Keen eye for standout moments during live TV reporting
- Ability to write strong headlines and captions
- Enviable contacts book
- Ability to break exclusive stories and secure interviews
