Chef Editor, Great British Chefs
Full-time, permanent
Remote (with one day a week in our London office)
Salary: £35-37K DoE
Reporting to: Helen Graves, Head of Content 

As part of the editorial team, the Chef Editor will work collaboratively with the Head of Content and wider team to recruit and profile chefs for the Great British Chefs website, liaise with and recruit chefs for client and editorial campaigns and write occasional chef-led food features to the highest standard. 

Responsibilities

• To work closely with the Head of Content to identify chefs suitable for profiling on the Great British Chefs website 
• Interviewing chefs, writing profiles and obtaining chef recipes 
• Writing and commissioning occasional chef-focused client and editorial features in collaboration with the Head of Content  
• Arranging and managing Great British Chefs video content series’ and attending shoots 
• Liaising with chefs as required to facilitate the organisation and management of client campaigns 
• Uploading and managing chef recipes and content in the CMS in collaboration with the CMS data administrator 
• Managing client content such as brand hubs in the CMS and other administrative tasks as required
• Brainstorming ideas with the wider commercial and editorial teams 
• Updating landing pages as required 
• Carrying out other editorial and/or administrative tasks as required

Skills and Experience 

• You will be a ‘person about town’ with a wide network of contacts, including current chefs and hospitality industry leaders 
• You will have your finger on the pulse of current trends in food and restaurants, and a clear understanding of ‘what comes next’ 
• You have at least 1-2 year’s experience in a similar editorial role, or be able to clearly demonstrate an editorial vision and skillset
• You have excellent feature and copywriting skills  
• You are self-motivated, confident and outgoing
