We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our editorial team as a fashion writer, specialising in social media. Your responsibility will be to provide high quality editorial copy and up-to-date fashion content for all social media channels, maintaining THEOUTNET.COM voice and ensuring THEOUTNET.COM remains a reference point for information on the latest trends and fashion news.

• Write all social media content
• Develop weekly and daily ideas for all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, YouTube)
• Work directly with design team to create necessary assets (e.g.Facebook tiles, Instagram photos, Pinterest boards, etc.)
• Work closely with the Social Media Manager, Marketing, including on delivery of all assets (including copy and design)
• Be the editorial contact for all things social media, while consistently ensuring Marketing Editor and Content Director are informed on allsocial media activity
• Update Marketing Editor on upcoming social media plan (weekly) andcreative team on social media channel highlights
• Lead weekly social media meeting
• Maintain social media filing system and ensure all stakeholders have relevant assets (including assigned deadlines) on time
• Research new social media content channels
• Liaise with editorial team to leverage content for social media channels
• Fact check social media content and work closely with sub editors on social media copy and content
• Refine THE OUTNET social media voice
• Be fully knowledgeable about the social media marketplace and the online world
• Work closely with video production and copy teams on video content specifically for social media use
• Work with merchandising and marketing to develop original commercial fashion content specifically for social media
• Liaise with external contacts to acquire quotes, images, etc. specifically for social media use when relevant
• Contribute ideas to all aspects of THE OUTNET business, particularly pertaining to creative/editorial

Essential Skills and Requirements
• Excellent written English
• A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent time keeping and ability to meet deadlines
• Sound knowledge of fashion, designers and brands
• Ability to work in a team
• Excellent organisational skills
• Recent experience editing the fashion section of a weekly/monthly fashion or lifestyle publication
• Graduate (or equivalent) with proven experience
• Ambitious, hardworking and with an impeccable work ethic
• Proven track record of inspiring creativity and daring both with an excellent eye for fashion and sharp copy-writing and editing skills
• Exceptional communication and networking skills and a great sense of personal style and wit
• Originality, creativity and overall high quality of editorial content
• Image and copy accuracy
• Demonstrated commercial know-how and ability to add tangible differences to a business such as ours
