propertyweek.com and Property Week, Finance Editor
propertyweek.com and Property Week
Can you be the next star writer for the UK’s most award-laden business media brand?
An exciting opportunity has opened to join the PPA Business Media Brand of the Year and AOP Business Website of the Year working as a finance correspondent on propertyweek.com and Property Week.
As a Finance Editor, you will be responsible for covering the quoted property sector, property fund management, and the banking sector which is the lifeblood of the industry. The job will entail editing the finance and banking sections of propertyweek.com and Property Week.
This means writing and breaking on and off-diary digital news stories for a publication that has a digital-first policy for news, as well as writing for the magazine.
You will need to build up a rapport with the chief executives and chief financial officers of listed companies, to ensure that propertyweek.com and Property Week’s coverage of financial results is accurate and comprehensive. Securing and advising a stable of columnists for the section, to provide in depth analysis, is also vital. The banking section, and the finance role in general, involves a high level of analysis, so sharp and original thinking is crucial.
As well as writing news and analysis, you will also be involved in presenting your stories in video, audio and infographic form.
Property Week’s modern style offers weekly news, opinion from top columnists, financial trends and data and leading journalism from across all regions and markets. www.propertyweek.com is an informative, interactive site offering additional news, opinion and data from across the industry.
