Web Content Editor
The Association of British Insurers (ABI) is currently seeking a creative, focused and dynamic Web Content Editor to join the communications team, initially on a fixed term contract until the end of 2013.
The ABI is one of the UK’s leading trade associations and represents the UK based insurance industry on a wide range of issues to Government, regulators, other public bodies and the media.
The key focus of this role will be to proactively manage all content on the ABI website, ensuring that it is accurate, timely and engaging for our audiences. The successful candidate will have a real opportunity to develop impactful content both for the public website and ‘members only’ sections, liaising with key stakeholders across the ABI to ensure information is correct and appropriate. They will also have accountability for developing our social media strategy, ensuring this channel is optimised to enable effective communication with our members and stakeholders
In order to be successful in this position excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills are required, as well as the ability to assimilate complex information into web-appropriate formats. It is also important to have experience of using web content management systems and experience of working in the insurance / financial services sector.
