Press Association, City Reporter
The Press Association is looking to recruit an experienced journalist to write clear and concise copy on City, economy and consumer-related stories.
This is an opportunity to join the UK's leading multi-media news agency, with an unrivalled reputation for providing fast, fair and accurate news content. Customers include national and regional newspapers as well as major online publications.
The workload is varied and will cover many of the stories that have been dominating the news agenda in recent months, such as the UK's recovery from recession, the plight of the retail sector and the reform of the scandal-hit banking industry.
The successful candidate will be expected to interview chief executives of FTSE 100 Index companies and maintain a network of key contacts in the City. This is not an entry-level position as we require a reporter with proven experience in financial journalism who is used to working to tight deadlines and has good shorthand skills.
