ITM Media solutions, publisher of industry leading titles including Telecoms.com, Mobile Communications International, the Banking Technology portfolio, and Digital TV Europe is creating a new opening on the Telecoms.com editorial team.
Telecoms.com will be launching a specialist Cloud Communications/Computing site in 2013 and is looking for an ambitious tech journalist to join its fast-growing team.
Candidates will need to demonstrate skills and experience in tech trade journalism and an affinity for the enterprise and carrier IT and communications markets.
We are looking for someone who is as comfortable breaking news stories as they are writing original, discursive analysis, as well as longer features.
A great communicator, the successful applicant will be comfortable interacting with the most senior executives in the industry as well as working on client-facing commercial material including white papers, surveys, reports and webinars.
The Senior Staff Writer will be working alongside and under the guidance of the Media Solutions Editorial Director and the Managing Editor of Telecoms.com and will be expected to generate content suitable for both online and print environments.
The ability to meet the volume and pace demands of an online publishing environment without sacrificing quality is essential.

Useful skills include some knowledge of online publishing and content management systems – we use Wordpress in house – as well as print publishing, and social media. Interview skills, news and feature writing are essential. An ability to produce long form content such as white papers and reports, as well as audio and video content, based on a client’s specifications would also be useful.
