Post, Commissioning Editor
Post, the award-winning, paid-for, news and information service for the insurance sector is looking for a commissioning editor to join its team. Established in 1840, the brand has a great reputation for nurturing and developing well rounded and respected journalists.
Responsibilities will include commissioning articles for the magazine, our online offering, commercial projects and supplements. As well as writing hard hitting analysis, features and profile interviews for the brand, the commissioning editor is also responsible for the social media and multi-media strategy. This role will cover the full breadth of the insurance sector, and will involve speaking to and making contacts with everyone from CEOs, to MPs and senior regulatory officials.
The ideal candidate will have editing experience and could be a senior reporter look to take their next step up the career ladder. They will also be a self-starter who thrives in a busy and fast paced environment.
