£35,700 per annum (pro-rata to the hours of work)
Part-Time for 22.5 hours per week / Fixed term – Up to 12 Months
Greenpeace is an international non-profit global campaigning organisation. Our independence and global reach enables us to stand for positive change through action in order to defend nature and promote peace. We investigate and expose global environmental problems, confront those in positions of power and present alternative solutions.
Join our work – be a key part of a team reporting on key UK and Global energy and climate issues delivering innovative, challenging and agenda setting news stories for our global journalistic news project, Energydesk.
The Staff Reporter role is all about delivering high quality, high impact, evidence based and powerful digital journalism on short to medium term turnarounds.
The successful candidate will work across the energy and climate beat, covering desk stories and developing their own ideas with a particular focus on stories linked to one campaign area at any given time.
As a trained journalist within Greenpeace, the staff reporter may also support & encourage members of Greenpeace’s project teams to research and produce credible & journalistic content.
We’re looking for someone who has a nose for ideas and angles which will set the agenda and has creative ideas for how to use data and other evidence to tell powerful stories online.
You must be able to demonstrate that you are eligible to work in the UK
