The Wall Street Journal is looking for a senior writer to help drive our national security coverage in Washington at a critical time for foreign and military policy.

The candidate will help organize our team to deliver the most important stories in a timely and efficient way and work closely with the National Security editor to ensure that we provide our subscribers with dominant coverage in breaking news and analysis.

The position is based in Washington, D.C.

The ideal candidate will have at lease five years journalism experience, a keen knowledge of foreign and military policy and major issues around the world and, ideally, some foreign reporting experience.
