Are you an ambitious, energetic and creative strategic communicator? Want the chance to lead communications for a major new programme?

The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK.

We are scoping a new programme of work which aims to help key parts of the NHS prepare for the future better. There are a number of mega trends generally accepted as ‘on their way’ (with some already here in some form).

These trends – technology, science, demography for example - are already affecting the supply and demand for health care as well as how it is structured, organised and managed. The programme will aim to build capacity and capability for the health system to better incorporate a focus on these trends into strategic planning.

We are looking for a talented and dynamic strategic communications professional whose expertise spans marketing communications, media, digital communications and stakeholder relations.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional communicator, with significant experience of leading integrated communications strategies, as well as the flexibility and initiative to provide strategic leadership in a complex and evolving environment.

The post-holder will have excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, and thrive on working in an evolving, energetic and fast-paced environment as well as being able to communicate complex and multi-faceted ideas in simple and accessible ways to multiple audiences.
