Laboratory News is seeking an Assistant Editor - Part Time hours considered
We are looking for an Assistant Editor who wants to have a real impact on the leading laboratory publication in the UK.
The ideal candidate will be a science graduate with a real interest in, and knowledge of, all aspects of science.
Experience of writing for publication will be a real advantage, as would knowledge of web site CMS systems.
With the ability to work to tight deadlines, generate accurate and exciting copy and ideas you will seek to engage readers from a broad range of scientific backgrounds.
As well as generating news and features, you will also be responsible for sub-editing the work of others as well as working with clients to help them tell their story. You will be a proactive and enthusiastic individual, with excellent written and web skills keen to get stuck into any task thrown at you.
The leading laboratory publication for the UK market, Laboratory News magazine and its associated products are established and respected within the sectors that they serve.
Offering insightful news, in depth features, product information and much more, we produce several print and web offerings – and you will have the chance to write for and influence them all.
We are looking for someone to grow with us as we develop the portfolio. The role could suit someone more junior on a full-time basis or if you are more experienced then part-time might be for you.
