The publication covers an array of topics within the fast-moving financial services sector, from the inner workings of global giants such as PayPal, Visa and Mastercard, to money laundering, terrorist financing, cybercrime, Brexit and Bitcoin.
Reporters produce daily in-depth coverage on a broad range of relevant legislation, court cases, enforcement action and policy issues at national and international level.
You will track regulatory changes affecting relevant financial firms and investigate global policy relating to competition, innovation and risk. You will pitch and write detailed and analytical stories on a daily basis, relied upon by senior figures across the industry.
This is a challenging and rewarding role with significant opportunities for travel and career progression for the right candidate.
Three years editorial experience is desired, and a working knowledge of financial services legislation would be helpful. The position will involve building relationships with senior industry figures and legal experts, and could suit a candidate interested in newspaper or B2B reporting.
