Good Morning Britain, Producer - 12 Month FTC
Are you a producer or journalist who thrives on the buzz of working within a live news environment? Do you have an abundance of ideas for TV programme content? Can you inform, entertain and enthuse our audience as they begin their day?
If the answer is yes, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our team on Good Morning Britain.
As Britain’s most talked about breakfast show we provide a broad mix of content across news, current affairs and entertainment. We know that the three million people who tune in every morning want to leave their homes feeling informed and entertained – that’s our job.
As Producer you will be at the very heart of the team who put together the fantastic content that makes our programme each day.
Working closely with our Assistant Editors and News Editors you will suggest story ideas, come up with creative treatments, book guests, write briefs, edit VTs and write scripts. You will take your ideas from concept to completion, to create a rounded show.
As an established journalist, you will have experience of working within a newsroom, with a proven track record of dealing with breaking news and developing stories to take them to air. You will have a background in television production and experience of picture editing and script writing.
You will be passionate about television, and have a good knowledge of current affairs and the issues that matter to our viewers. You will be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will also be able to demonstrate that you can get the best out of presenters and correspondents.
So, if you thrive in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same and you possess the journalistic skills that will help us achieve our goals, then we’d love to hear from you - click 'Apply' now.
