Your role:

The Times and The Sunday Times are looking for social media experts to work across both titles.

With a good understanding of broader media trends, you will have an eye for a shareable social story, how to make the most of this knowledge on different platforms and the confidence to train the wider newsroom with the skills they need to succeed.

Expertise in writing and editing copy optimised for social, packaging stories in the best format for their success, sourcing stories through social media and using data to inform your decisions are essential. You'll be a keen innovator with lots of ideas, with the ability to run controlled tests and feed learnings back into longer term strategies.

What we're looking for from you:

  • Writing and editing copy, pictures and multimedia for social media platforms
  • Strong and confident communicator
  • Ability to pull editorial insights from data
