Scientific Director - Medical Communications

A well-respected Medical Communications agency is recruiting for a Scientific Director within its busy team in London. This is a key role within the agency, supporting existing accounts as well as contributing to new business development and encouraging organic growth.

You will provide leadership in scientific affairs and communication and you will take an overarching role to ensure that projects reflect client objectives and key communication points are supported effectively. You will work closely with different teams to share ideas and you will contribute to overall account strategies and plans. You will play integral role in the agency's business development activities, helping to identify areas to grow existing accounts and develop new leads as well as contributing to proposals and pitches.

To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:

*Significant experience within a medical/healthcare communications agency at a senior level
*Experience across a range of therapeutic areas, projects and clients
*Experience in strategic planning
*Proven track record in developing and presenting new business proposals/pitches
*Excellent organisational skills
*Keen eye for detail
