This is an exciting opportunity for a data journalism graduate looking to start a career in digital media.
Netmums is searching for someone to join their Community team in a data journalism focused position with the opportunity to collaborate across a variety of departments.
The heart of Netmums is our thriving forum where users discuss everything from breastfeeding to Brexit. We’re looking for a data journalist who, in collaboration with the Head of Forum, Head of SEO and Product Manager, will use data to inform content generation, increase traffic and drive engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with Head of Forum on data-led research projects and data collection
- Providing support to the Head of SEO on optimisation work
- Collaborating with the Head of Forum on projects to increase engagement in the forum and improve UX
- Recognising and exploiting trends within the forum and the wider digital marketplace
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- A background in digital content, forums or social media
- Adept at analysing data to create actionable insights
- Excellent written communication skills
- Candidate should be a self-starter with plenty of initiative, comfortable working on their own as well as within diverse teams
QUALIFICATIONS
- Journalism qualification, or 1-5 years proven experience.
